José Vítor Bomtempo
Professor of Chemical Engineering UFRJ

He is a chemical engineer from EQ/UFRJ, master in Production Engineering from COPPE/UFRJ and doctor in Industrial Economics from École des Mines de Paris. He is currently coordinator of the GEBio, Group of Studies in Bioeconomics at EQ/UFRJ, researcher associated with the Energy Economics Group of the Institute of Economics/UFRJ, professor and researcher at the Graduate Program in Chemical and Biochemical Process Engineering at EQ /UFRJ, and the Graduate Program in Public Policies, Strategies and Development, PPED, at IE/UFRJ. His main research themes are: bioeconomy, circular economy, innovation economics and management, competences to innovate, business strategies, technological and innovation strategies.
